Intel D815EEA2: I don't have the Special I/O Shield, will I have problems?

I recentgly got a replacement Intel D815EEA2 board for my uncle's gf, and the guy who sold it to me, didn't mention, nor sent the special I/O shield for this board. Will I be ok without it? This is the kind where there is no game port, the 3 Audio ports are vertical and there are 2 paris of USB ports, one in its usual spot, the other between the audio ports and the pararell, video, and serial port group. Thanks guys!!!

Just pull out the shield and use it. it shold be. I don it for years on my old at conv to atx case
