I know most Dual AMD boards do not have great OCing. Any kind of AGP/PCI divider....etc

Umm...you just contradicted yourself. This post is about price-drops of Intel processors. Second, most users don't use "Pee4 Xeons". Although expensive, I would much rather have one P4 3ghz with HT over two Athlons anyday.

prices seem to have gone down a few buck today, but not the 20% or whatever they claimed in those news reports. hmmm...?

MOst of the prices when they go down do it over a period of time...no 20 percent in just one day...some companies are still working through old supply and some build up to it with declining prices weeks before the actual date....

As this thread was started the 2.8ghz was significantly higher...almost 100 bucks higher!!!

Now I am seeing some movement in the 2.26 and 2.4ghz prices...albeit little but they need to drop to allow the 2.53ghz to settle around 200 bucks....
