I was searching around, and I saw an Intel Core i7-4771. Is it any better or faster than an overclocked i7-4770K and is it worth it? Is it any different besides the name?

Depends on use case. 4770k is obviously better for gaming because it can be OC'd. 4771 supports some of the extra specialized instruction sets, but if you don't know if you need them, you almost certainly don't.
