Here is a 990x pushing 7g in a Gigabyte lab..

980X might be a Sandy equivalent ... or something ... if they would lower the price on the 980X to about $500 ... PLEASE, INTEL ?

Historically Intel has never done this on their EE chips.

980X will be $999 until EOL'd.
