So I had this thought.. This promotion is surely attracting a lot of attention, but precious few people are able to take advantage of it. The vast majority of the people trying to participate are wasting their time and just building their aggravation.

Is it just me, or does aggravating a whole bunch of people a sure fire way to LOSE support for your cause? Personally, I just spent 5 minutes trying to get that HP netbook they had for all of 10 seconds, only to be told it was sold out. At this point, breast cancer owes ME money, and any time in the future that I'll think about making a charitable donation, I'll remember breast cancer aggravating me, and either donate to a different cause, or save my money.

Not very well-played, in my opinion... they would have been better off auctioning the items - they would get more money, and no one would be upset about not getting in on an artificially low-priced deal.

I guess I look at it differently, it's somewhat amusing to watch, it's like a contest of sorts... It's unrealistic to go into something like this expecting to buy anything.

Yep, this is one of the biggest scams ever. They only had a total of 48 Zunes. And all of the items are selling out before the number is even posted on their stream...

I understand you're bitter about not getting the deal you wanted, but geez man. If it drives you so crazy, how about paying retail for the product you want? OR......just maybe........quit watching the webcast.

And very few boards will work with Tri-SLI; even some boards like the P6T, with 3 PCI-e slots, will not work because of placement (you can't fit 3 cards w/ dual slot coolers).

They have PCI X16 extension cables (you can move your card away from the board and get more room), any idea if it would support it then? I found these when I was looking at the Skulltrail motherboards a while back, even though they had four slots they were too close together to use them all.

The stream keeps going down more than <insert dirty phrase here>

And now the stream keeps crashing Flash, crashing the browser. Happens in IE7, FF3, and Opera.

Ya, the I7 is gone, everyone can turn it off now

lol first they are reduced to broadcasting on a cheap netbook, and now all the phone lines are down!

blah I can't believe I waited all day for nothing. I dialed the # for the i7 like a split second before he finished saying it (I guessed right) and I was immediately placed on hold, but then no one answered.

Same here

So how likely are you to support breast cancer research after breast cancer research wasted your time like this? 🙂

Being a dude, I'm looking up worthy prostate cancer-related charities. Just think of all the brown-colored items we could sell to raise funds. 😛

Absolute bullshit........ I hit on the 32 inch tv, the I7, the phenom and one other item, only to be hung up on after waiting for several minutes for each item. This was just just fucking bullshit. I did not even mind the video drops as I was surfing for Xmas presents and talking on my TS.
