I was browsing the MC web site earlier today, and the 2500K is showing in-stock (10+) at the Cambridge MA store, for $139.99. Unknown if there is a further discount at the store itself.

Note that MC is also doing a $50 off (used to be $40 off) mobo combo deal, but apparently ONLY with the i3-3225 ($119.99) and the i5-3570K ($189.99).

This may be the OEM chip, I'm not sure. The picture is not of a box, but of a chip.

I would say by the description this is an OEM chip, shorter warranty and no HSF included.
That said, not a bad price at all.

Very hot deal indeed. It's an OEM chip, but let's be honest, most folks would use an after-market cooler anyways.

My local MC is showing seven in stock same price. Think I'm gonna pick up one for my dad as he's looking to build a new(er) gaming rig as he's still running a Phenom II 965.

They had them at the mayfield heights store today when I was there. I passed on it today and built a HTPC with a I3 3225 with a free motherboard instead.
