Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 in stock at newegg

This product isn't targeted at you mere peasants...it's meant for the true royalty of early-adopters who bought this the second they became available at Newegg.

Hmm...the X6800 was taken off a little while ago...same thing happened with the above elite product shortly after launch.

Newegg most likely had a glitch that causes their site to post that, or a human error. The C2D's aren't instock anywhere at the moment. Supplies are going to be very tight until 1Q 07. Until then, the majority of your C2Ds are going to be found in Dell boxes.

While Woodcrest Xeon's may be Core 2, it's not exactly the desktop Conroe models. I predict this will disappear just like the X6800 links, since no one's supposed to be advertising Core 2 until the official 7/27 launch date.

Not a whole lot of people want the extreme edition conroe either. Now if newegg had the e6600 for like 700 dollars... Yea, I can see why a lot of people would be pissed, but I still wouldn't care all that much; I'm willing to wait.
