Wow, drop the CAPS! Very hard to read.

I would drop the QX6850 for a Q6600 and overclock it, you will get about the same result. And I would also drop the ddr3 board and go with the ddr2 version, these two changes will save a ton of money and you won't lose virtually any performance. I would then invest the saved money on a top of the line monitor and video card

Asus P5K deluxe wifi $219.99
Q6600 $294.99
Crucial Ballistix 2x1gb ddr2-800 $79.99 AR
Corsair 620hx power supply $139.99 AR
2 x WD750gb 16mb HDD's $399.98
EVGA 768mb 8800gtx $509.99 AR
Samsung 244t 24" 6ms LCD $699.99
NZXT case $129.99
Thermalright Ultra-120 extreme HSF $64.99
Lite on 20 DDR+R $ 35.99
Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard $79.99
Razer Cooperhead Mouse $69.99
Vista Ultimate 32bit $189.99

Thats $2915.86 before shipping and after rebates

If you plan on going big, like 3000. You would best to wait for the x38 motherboards since those are just around the corner. You could really save yourself money if you bought the q6600 instead. I would only recommend getting the qx6850 if you are going to get water cooling and overclock the hell out of it, otherwise it wouldn't be as wise of a choice. DDR3 Memory is so costly right now, but I guess since you are going big. OCZ is pretty good for DDR3, but I would look more into it since it hasn't been adopted yet.

If you are not overclocking , then just get ddr2-800. the 1066 wont run at its normal speed without bumping the fsb.

It's really pretty easy, with just a few adjustments in the bios and some stress testing to make sure its stable, you can easily overclock the Q6600 from 2.4 to 3.2ghz and if you get the newer GO stepping even up to 3.5 or 3.6ghz is possible with good air cooling.
