Interesting that they have it priced less than a Windows 10 license. I'll say the performance is meh & it gets pretty hot. I actually have not put it in active use because I have safety concerns about the heat. Wish the Atom X5 model was at that price!

Yeah, I have a couple of MeegoPad T02 Compute Sticks.

They overheat badly.. They are unusable for continuous usage, such as a Skype conversation.

Mostly just junk.

Edit: Most people would be better served by a 7"-10.1" tablet. In fact, the tablet overheats a lot less, for whatever reason. (I can use a Z3735F tablet for Skype no problems.)

Edit: Sorry for the thread-crap, but I'm speaking from experience with these. Granted, the ones I have don't have a fan, whereas I believe that I read that the Intel model does.

They're ok for "bursty" CPU loads, like web browsing, but I would hesitate to use one of these for watching movies.

Edit: If my comments haven't deterred you, that IS a good deal for one of these. They're normally $130-150 list.

Points well taken. I have a sudden interest in Atoms for a couple reasons. FIrst, I just love gadgets like this, and second I run a few DC projects that are non cpu intensive, atoms are perfect for these since they use just a couple four watts.

And indeed these Intels have a tiny fan. Not really noticeable from a few feet away, but can be slightly annoying if they are a couple feet away on your monitor.

Now I need to find a female hdmi to vga cable to plug into my KVM rack.
