"Four of the chips do stand out from the rest, but not because of raw processing power. The quadruplet, which includes the i3-5157U, i5-5257U, i5-5287U and the i7-5557U, boasts a 28-watt TDP. Base frequencies are up a bit, topping out at 3.1GHz, but much of the extra juice goes to the upgraded Iris 6100 graphics."

Running Windows 8.1, the XPS 13 features a massive 15 hours projected battery life on a single charge and features an UltraSharp Quad HD+ infinity display with 5.7million pixels in a 5.2mm bezel.
The XPS 13 is powered by Intel's 5th-gen Broadwell Core processors and takes advantage of solid state drives for storage. Dell claimed the XPS 13 is the "smallest 13in notebook in the world, fitting a 13.3in screen into the size of a typical 11in notebook"
