the intel processors aren't due out till next summer. And IIRC, its going to be in the desktop models first, so who knows, might not be till late 06 for the powerbooks

I was thinking that PPC have already a load of supported software and it's going to take so long for the intel powerbooks to go out, and when they do they are going to be buggy and software support is going to suck for a while just like any other type of transitions it needs time to mature so I am going back today to give hime a green light for a PPC one, am I correct ?

Developers (including myself) already have access to Intel Macs, and are developing software for them already. So far it seems pretty stable. It's a simple matter of just clicking a couple of checkboxes (like anything on OS X 😉) and then recompiling to get both PPC and Intel code into the same executable. So, I'm pretty sure that there will be plenty of software for the Intel macs by the time they come out (ther already is quite a bit). There just won't be as much as there is for PPC (i.e. the older software that was PPC only).
