Intel is about as conservative and compatibility free that it gets in the 'puter world. No problems that I've ever heard of, aside from standard driver issues. Even then, those problems are promptly fixed by one or the other, or both.
No problems here. This 865 chipset has been the absolute least problematic chipset I have ever owned. Fantastic compatability with both ATi and nVidia cards and any other piece of hardware I have ever put in this machine. IMO, their chipsets are arguably the best reason for opting for an Intel based system.
