If you're only pushing for 3GHz, an E6300 would be enough as well.
I recommend a Thermalright Ultra-120 with Yate Loon D12SL-12 ($4) for better performance and ease of installation. You will need to mod the fan a bit to get it to work, though. See here.Originally posted by: mrissmann
