I'm trying to find some opinions on mobo's w/ intel 975x chipsets.
From looking at the reviews on newegg/etc. on the Asus board it appears that they screwed up the RAID capabilities w/ the marvel controls? and the end result is that not many people have been succesful at getting RAID setups to work with that board.
(the anandtech review barely mentions the RAID and one can only assume that it wasn't tested from reading the review.)
The Intel boards aren't mentioned much anywhere i can find, and I haven't heard/seen anything on the Gigabtye board yet. MSI is supposed to have released one also called the 975x Platinum, and I've had good MSI boards over the years, but can't seem to find one for sale anywhere.
