A few weeks ago I purchased a 400 GB Intel 750 NVMe SSD and used it as system drive with my Intel Z97 system (no overclocking) running Win10 x64 with the latest Intel NVMe driver v1.3.0.1007.
These were the benchmark results I got in October this year:

Yesterday I have successfully flashed the latest Firmware delivered by Intel and did a fresh clean install of Win10 x64 v1511 ("November Edition") onto the SSD. Except the SSD Firmware and the OS Build the system configuration incl. the BIOS settings were exactly the same as in October, but now I got extremely worse WRITE scores.
Look here:

Has anybody an idea, what may be responsable for this extreme WRITE performance drop?
By the way: After having switched the in-use NVMe driver from the Intel to the Win10 in-box MS NVMe driver I got better WRITE scores than with the latest Intel ones, but they are still much worse than in October.
