Slightly slower write speeds than an 850 EVO but uses MLC not TLC ram.

I have both hard drives in my builds at home and cannot tell any difference between them in terms of overall speed.

It's too much of a sweeping generalization to say it just has slower write speeds. What about sustained write speeds? Surely the MLC will write larger files more quickly, which presumably with this kind of capacity can happen. So many metrics to SSD speeds, gah. Good deal though.

I agree, was just going off of the advertised speeds. Real world is always different.
