I am interested in the compare and contrast of this thread too...

My brother is about to purchase my Mobo/CPU because he is getting an AMD 7850 soon...


I use my PC 60% for gaming and 40% for video editing and encoding... I'm not a fan of overclocking so a non (k) cpu would be good... my next perference would be PCI 3.0 support and adding an SSD... I want a cpu/mobo set up that would be worth the upgrade from the rig in my sig... thanks!

will it be able stand for a long periode guys?

Its going to work on heavy load (CPU 100% for 4-8 or even maybe 12 hours, 3d rendering)
