Should be similar. Smaller NAND process = lower durability (fewer writes per cell before they start to fail) but improvements to wear leveling (controller + firmware) will about balance this out.
Intel isn't going to knowingly release a substandard drive - they don't want to deal with excessive warranty repairs plus lose their reputation as making some of the most dependable drives available.
Both drives should easily exceed the 3 year warranty (same for both, if that tells you anything).
