Argh newegg throwing in BF3 has me mighty tempted! I'm not interested in BF3, but I figured with a super popular game it could probably fetch $30-40 to help bring costs down. Is this game bundled retail box? I don't know if its better or worst for reselling lolol.

It's a digital download. I'm still excited about it, even though I was iffy on buying BF3. As you mentioned, you can just sell the game, anyway.

Anyone notice that the 80GB is $70AR on Amazon? That has to be the deal of the century. For someone looking to upgrade on the cheap, that's a better deal than the 120GB.

It's pretty impressive how rapidly ssd prices are dropping. $1 per GB or less looks to be the norm now. As impressive as that amazon deal, I think I'm more impressed at that $250 for a 230gb ssd deal. Something that large could hold all of my games + OS indefinitely.

The 120gig is available at Microcenter for $119 AR as well. I picked up one of those today, and I'm pretty excited about it.

Sheesh, apparently this is they year of the ssd. Now ocz has a 120gb drive for $70 AR (with 2 different rebates though).

Well, I've been searching for deals on the 240GB/256GB drives, and there are none to be had. All of those SSDs are currently around the same prices they've been for the past few months. Still around $400, even when the 120GB drives are hovering around $120-$140.

320's rock. spare chip in to continue to work if an entire chip fails, super redundant capacitors (instead of one big one). smart smart smart. if you were to throttle the write iops down and overprovision by half or more you'd get the 710 :)

710 = same thing plus super slow write iops and cherry picked mlc. if someone could hack the 710 flash onto a 320 i'd pay them some $$$ :)

Looking at the specs the 160GB is a significant jump in speed over the 120GB. Looks like the Newegg deal is hot. I just bought a 120GB from amazon last week. :(

i also bought a 80GB and 120GB 1 week apart ... I wish amazon and newegg would have a 15-30 days price guarantee policy (like costco) ....

eh there is no way you can predit stuff like this .... if i remember right, last black friday didn't offer impressive ssd deals.

All i can say is that i am happy the way they perform :)

Thank you for the newegg link! I ordered that SSD at instant. It is going to be a nice upgrade for my MSI x460dx.
