Integrated Water Cooling Case, A Good Deal?

Hey guys, this summer I'm going to be splurging for a few upgrades on my PC, and water cooling is on the list. I've always wanted to do this, but couldn't justify the price when I had other upgrades to nab. However, with birthday money + summer job + pretty much all my income being disposable (yay High School), the water cooling route is open to me.

I'm leaning towards getting a integrated water cooling case/system, just because I'm not a huge fan of my Sunbeam case, and I don't want to drill my own holes and make some sort of fugly mod to get the thing rigged up.

What I was looking at buying was this: http://www.xoxide.com/thermaltake-armor-lcs-case.html

However, I've never heard of this company, am a totally clueless as to water cooling system prices, and don't have any experience with that case. From what I've looked up, the actual case itself is rather popular and garners good reviews, but I'm not exactly sure that price is right. Any help?

Sorry for the big post, any replies are appreciated.

Rather expensive. The watercooling included is extremely mediocre and not better than the top aircoolers. Not worth it at all. If you would like to switch to watercooling, look at the sticky at the top of the forum and ask for some opinions on cases and parts after you post your budget.

EDIT: BOLD. I'm an idiot.

Thankee much! I'll look into it asap 😀

IMHO the only watercooling worthwhile doing is a system you build yourself. The pre-built systems don't usually perform better than a high end air cooler.

The biggest issue with building your own WC system is finding a place for the radiator. If you can figure that out the rest is pretty easy. Takes some patience though.

the swiftech kits are pretty good... (at least their ones with the 240 rads)

Build it and drill into your case yourself. The experience is well worth it alone.

Tools I've had to use so far;

1" spade bit
4 1/2" hole saw
drill of course
Tape Measure
masking tape
pencil to mark drill points
small drill bit to begin the holes for larger cuts
Angle grinder
Safety glasses
time and patience
1" rubber grommets

EDIT: or you can look over at Mountian Mods for a pre-built h20 case
