integrated video card (ATI Rage XL PCI)

I have a dell poweredge 600sc.. I know it's a server pc. but I'm using it for my main computer right now.

I have windowsxp pro installed on it.. the video card is ATI Rage XL PCI.. It's onboard.

on the cd, all it has are drivers for windows 2000 and windows 2003 server.

I installed the driver, but it's not working that good.. at least I think that's the problem.. for instance. when I goto webpages it loads them kinda at the top and straight down.. jumpy/laggy/choppy like.

does anybody know anyway I can fix this? ..I had the default video driver for winxp installed before, but it still had the same problem.

also.. I have remote desktop setup on this pc.. whenever I connect to it from my laptop.. and I'm viewing webpages it loads fine.. so it has to be the video.

Go download the drivers from ati.com

I have.. but it only has the driver to download for windows 2000

that's the correct driver for ATI Rage XL PCI .. right?

if you click on windows xp on the side, it doesn't have the correct video card listed.

hm.. I found this one for winxp.. i just went to rage instead of under the video controllers with motherboards or whatever.

windows xp -> rage -> rage xl (more) -> Windows XP Display Driver version 5.10.2600.6009

I tried installing that.. but it freezes up. I uninstalled the drivers from add/remove programs and restarted then it found the new hardware and asked to install the drivers.. so I pointed it to where it unpacked the driver setup and it installed.

but it's still acting like it was before.
