Intake, or exhaust?

Greetings gang,

wanna ask small question:

My case has two places for mounting fans (+1 in PSU, of course). One at the back (just below PSU fan), and one at the top. So i was wondering, how should I direct the fans - both intake, both exhaust, or one intake one exhaust (PSU is exhaust).

Thanks for any ideas :)

no front intake???

the top one should definately be exhaust as hot air rises. use the back as intake and exhaust and see which gives you lower temps

I would use both as exhaust they will suck enough air out to create a good intake.

nope, unfortunately no front hole :(

i'm using both as exhaust now.. and opened a hole in the front (even with my hand i can feel lots of cool air moving in)

tho i'm kinda scared it'll collect LOTS of dust this way

i guess i'll have to try both ways, the rear fan that is..

ambient temp 20c, case temp 30c now..

Use them as exhaust. The intake will occur naturally when you are moving air out of the case, as it creates negative pressure. Having only intake would cause air to sit in the dead spots of your case, and raise the temp. As a general rule use more exhaust than intake(if any).
