Much-awaited results of a nationwide study aimed at preventing the development of diabetes have proved disappointing: Daily injections of insulin failed to stave off the form of the disease that most often develops in childhood.

Pancreatic transplants aren't working too well either. Got a cousin with a rather harsh version of diabetes. He's lost fingers and half of a leg so far. God help him if he ever gets another infection like the one that took the leg. :|

I've heard that milk or dairy products can cause this type of diabetes in people who are intolerant to it.

Btw... mammograms cause breast cancer and haven't been shown to save lives.
Ultra Sound was never proven safe because it's not a drug or a radiation but it has been linked to learning disorders in children who's mothers had 3+ ultrasounds while carrying them, and theyve been shown to affect the stability of cells.

Our solutions lie in prevention, however most people don't care until something happens. The smoke knowing it may give them and those around them cancer, instead of taking responsibility they want a fix.
