Dumb question: do you use everclear/vodka in the same amount that water is called for?

I usually do half water half alcohol. But it's all personal preference. If people are there to get drunk, then you can try all alcohol but then they sometimes won't set very well.

Yea, too much alcohol and they won't set very well. I do half water, half grain alcohol. If I have to use vodka, I put in about a third water, two thirds vodka.

it's far more impressive to the ladies (not to mention faster and neater) to get the jello shot out with your tongue.

Some shots were much bigger than others.

Yep, pharmacy parties rock. Smart people make for great drunk conversation.
I'm gunna go with "yes" for $1000, alex.
The parties get even better when the pharmacist umm.. brings home the work.. if ya know what I mean. :D

Lids:

And get the lids too. Then when they are sufficiently stiff, pop the lids on and you can toss them in a cooler and take them with you. Then you just throw them away when done.

cooooolness!!!! been wanting to make jello shots for some time now. here's a :cookie: for the great tip!

That's an ATOT foul. You can't give props to a competing method in my thread!

ANd I guess washing them would work too if you had a way to keep them upright you could just dump them in the dishwasher.

You have to make sure to get 30 to 60 cc syringes. That is roughly 1 to 2 fluid ounces. I need to add that to my post.

As for sourcing the syringes, I have always bought them in ultra bulk from the pharmacy or in labs. Yes, anyone can go to a pharmacy and buy syringes. I have friends that are Pharm techs, and that work in various labs. They order the syringes in until bulk, 1000s at a time. I just buy a portion from them at cost, plus a tip.

Do they come in an alternator sized box?

1000 syringes don't take up much space. Try to imagine 10 stacks of 25 x 4 syringes.

This would be funny if some cops came by and saw a bunch of syringes lying on the floor and a bunch of people all passed out. :D

Ah haha. That would be funny.
