I made Avocado rolls the other day. I hate buying the wrap + sticky rice kit because I get way more rice than wraps, more expensive, etc..

Sometimes I can't find sticky rice though, it sucks. 🙁
 
Instant sucks, buy real Rice(yaya, I know Instant is actually Rice, but it sucks). I saw a link somewhere(in another thread I believe) that explained the different Rice Types. American White Rice should be sticky.
 
What makes rice sticky is the amount of starch in it. That is long vs short grain rice, the type of rice. Not the cooking method. There are ways of making it sticky but it won't taste at all right.
 
I prefer sticky. How is it that some chinese places make their white rice just a little bit sweet? I dont see or taste any glaze on it.
