GAIM w/ AIM.

The only thing that annoys me about GAIM is that it still can't send folders the way it sends files. I'd also love to be able to share via aim, but that's not as much of a biggie.

Can't share crap w/ neither one of them, and it's damn slow when I could get it working the one time. Way faster using FTP.

True, but I have computer illiterate friends that I'd like to be able to share with.

But yeah, it's not enough to make me install regular AIM. That crap reaks of evil.

MSN, but i wish there was an MSN-lite or sumthin' that was lighter on teh resources.

What he said.

BTW, what do you mean "tired of using MSN"? How do you get tired of a service? Just change your client... there are lots out there. People ask for alternatives all the time. Search the software forum.

Yahoo for friends, AIM for colleagues. Since alot ofyalll say Trillian, might try that a little later.

AIM - friends from college and my family
Yahoo - my gf (video😉)
ICQ - friends from high school
MSN - friends from Japan and family

I hate using multiple clients, however Trillian just doesn't cut it for me (features don't match up to native clients)

I'm curious, what features do you use that Trillian does not support?

Trillian for AIM only

i dont personally know a single person that uses anything other then AIM, everyone used to use ICQ back in the day and switched to AIM
