Instant Messenger Clients...???

I didn't like the feel of Miranda... much like most of the free/open source stuff out there.

Trillian is perfect for me. It just works the way you need it to without being overwhelming. I use all the mediums except ICQ on it and it's very intuitive. It's also got good support from the developers and the community. I also have a few useful plugins including an RSS reader, weather, stocks, and POP3 mail alerts.

Does anyone have an answer for my previous post in this thread? I'd like to stop running both AIM and yahoo messenger, but I can only do that if I get GAIM to work on both clients at once.

I run centericq on my linux box and have to connect/reconnect (sometimes) several times to get on all servers... that or just wait... it usually connects

i noticed miranda doesn't work with yahoo, and when I tried to run it, i got a weird runtime error, so I uninstalled it

i used it for yahoo the other night, you have to install a plug in for it
