i have a pc with win2k and win98 installed on the c drive; the pc has a c, d, e, f and g partition. If i were to install winxp on the d drive, would
it format the d drive??? or just install it leaving the drive intact????
thanks
You would have to make sure to perform an `Advanced install` when given the option. Then you will be able to pick the partition used and whether or not you want to format or change the partitions. WinXP Pro gives the advanced option, not positive if WinXP Home does tho....
