Installing XP on new FX-55 rig...Have some SATA HDD question

Hello,
I will be assembling my new rig tomorrow, and I had a couple questions. I have read that to install windows to a SATA drive, you have to press F6 during the install..is this true? I didn't do that on my current system, and it has a sata drive (windows found it just fine).

Also, on the MSI Neo2 Platinum, which sata port should I plug the primary HDD into? Does it matter?

You push F6 if you are going to be using some type of "exotic" setup. XP considers RAID or SATA exotic I guess, heh.

So I pushed F6, popped my VIA SATA driver in and it did its thing. Everything worked great for me, no probs
