Installing X800 pro...small question.

Hi all, just got my x800 pro and found out it needs to be connected to the powersupply. My question is why does it also say it has to be connected to the harddrive? Cant i just give it power? or does it HAVE to be connected to that harddrive? My harddrive is sata so does it matter if 2 different power connecters are going into my harddrive? Please help before i finish this thing up and im dieing to play!!

actually, you should NEVER put your graphics card and your hdd on the same lead, the graphics card pulls to much power and can kill the hdd... i wonder why in the hell they are telling you to connect it to the hdd..😕
