Installing winXP Pro 64bit

hello

I'm trying to install Winxp Pro64 in a dual boot setup (xp home on my primary master, pro64 on a partition of my raid array) when I boot from the install cd, the first message I get says:

"Atempting to load an x64 operating system, however, system does not support a local APIC. Check system's firmware settings. In particular, ensure that firmware has APIC enabled on this system.

Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit."

I'm going to try and find APIC in my bios and enable it, but I'm not optimistic it will work. Has anyone else encoutered this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?
