i have gigabyte 945pj motherboard using two ATA 133 HDDs, and i need to install windows Xp on it. problem is, i need to creat a bootable floppy disk which will contain the driver for the ATA controller (GigaRaid ATA RAID CONTROLLER).
i knew how to creat this disk once, but then i had the CD i got with the motherboard. today, i can't find this CD and i need to creat this disk using a file i downloaded from the motherboard's main website. but i don't how to do this with a file and not the original CD!

with the original CD, i just had to type in this command in dos:
D:\BootDrv\menu.exe
and after it, i just followed the instructions.

but with the file on my HDD, instead of a CD, what is the command i need to write in dos?

That was very helpful.

Ok, you do not need a bootable floppy. You do need to copy the driver files to a floppy. Boot off the WinXP CD, and press F6 when you see the prompt to install additional drivers. Insert floppy and you should be ready to go. You could also use a tool like nLite to slipstream the drivers into the WinXP CD.
