installing Windows Whistler beta

anyone having trouble installing build 2428 of Windows Whistler? i'm stuck at the logon screen after installing. The error screen with a comments button on the top won't let me do anything. I heard there was a workaround for this in safe mode? any help i can get is greatly appreciated.
