Installing win2k from hard drive?

Win98 lets you copy all the install files to your hard drive and run setup from there; I needed to do this because my DVD and cd-rw drives were giving me all sorts of grief when I tried to install win98

Does Windows 2000 have a similar option?

You could just copy the files from the i386 folder on the cd...I think...

why don't you just run winnt32.exe within W98.

Yep copy the I386 folder. I forgot which EXE it is to run. You will figure it out.
