I am trying to install my new 9700 all in wonder. The setup i have right now is a geforce 3 card. I also have this other AGP card in the agp slot. the monitor plugs into the geforce three and then there is a connector cable that runs (externally) from the geforce 3 to the agp adapter. In installing the 9700, do i remove both the geforce and the AGP card? thanks in advance!

The ATI card is AGP. You need to take out the AGP card if you want to put the ATI card in. I'd take both out.

I don't recall a Geforce3 in a PCI configuration.

You remove your AGP Card (geforce3), and plug the Radeon9700 in its place. Do all the other Hookups (the power cable), and boot it up.

That sounds like an old Voodoo2 card setup...... I have never heard such a setup before - geforce3 pci connected to the main video like an old voodoo2 card? You better list some system specs and tell us why you needed 2 video cards in your box. Also, you better do a complete cleaning job of all your old video drivers before you install the 9700 or your asking for trouble.
