Installing Red Hat hard?

I need to install Red Hat linux 9.0 on my computer lab machine at school for this project, and then setup an LDAP and Tomcat server. I've intalled mandrake before on my desktop, but i know that it's heavily sugar coated for novice users like myself. Is the Redhat installation fairly straightforward and easy to install like windows or mandrake?

thanks

The install is simple. Setting up LDAP and Tomcat will give you much more to worry about...

Practically automatic, like Mandrake. A few minutes and its done. There are a few conveniences missing compared to Mandrake once you get the to the desktop.

Ever if you go with a custom install and partitioning scheme, it's a breeze for anyone even remotely familiar with computers and how they work.
