Installing RAM with higher clock speed than is supported by mobo?

I've found a really good deal on some OCZ PC4000/DDR500 ram, but my motherboard docum. says it supports upto PC3200. http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=K8V-X&langs=01

Is it possible to underclock the ram through the bios or something? Will the computer even boot? Will the mobo run the ram, but only at PC3200?

it will run perfectly fine with no adjustments

the point of faster ram is to give you room to overclock, if you put it in your mobo it will run at the default speed of your CPUs FSB
