Installing printer need help

I have a new install of XP pro and want to install my old lexmark 4019. It installed and worked fine with my old XP . When I try to install it the 4019 does not even come up as a choice. I have tried searching for drivers, lexmark does not list any and there are 100s of sites that say they have drivers but do not. thanks

Should be built in to XP. Is your XP up to date service pack wise? Try here:

Thank you. When the file unzips there is no .ppd for the 4019 so I tried the 4039.ppd, seems like the closest one, but the printer prints out 15 pages of garbage when I print a test page. Is there a way to get the driver off my other xp system? would it be listed as 4019.ppd?
