Installing Printer Driver but Vista can't find it!

I downloaded 2 zip files from Epson's website (one's for the driver, the other is a printer "monitor"), extracted the files, ran the setups for both (there were 2 sets of setups for each!?!) rebooted and then Vista told me the usual.. found new hardware, where are the drivers (since I don't have the installation CD for Vista-32 bit - only XP) I told it to go look in C: with a check on all sub-folders and Vista says it can't find the drivers. I've installed drivers zillions of times. Why can't Vista find the drivers?! Is this a Vista thing or Epson? Googled it but couldn't find anything so methinks I must be doing something wrong. But what?!

Any ideas?

Point EXACTLY at the folder where the files are. Vista sometimes cannot find the drivers from C. (Assuming these drivers are for Vista)

Drivers have to be in a Microsoft Installer Format or INF file to be "seen."
