Installing PC Fans question

So I'm going to be doing my first build from scratch and I got like 4 fans for my new PC. They are all 3-pin fans. Where will I connect them to? The MB or the PSU? Just wondering if I will need to buy a fan controller or any specialized converter cables to hook them all up.

I have an ASUS P8P67 MB and Antec Earthwatts 500W PSU. What will I need to get all four fans up and running? (a linky would be wonderful)

Yea but they should be fine for case fans, I wouldn't use them as cpu fan though.

Just be ready to replace them if needed.
 
The P8P67 has two case fan headers by my count, so you will either need two 3-pin to Molex adapters, a fan controller, or (my choice) two 3-pin Y-adapters. That will let you use your motherboards automatic fan controls. Those fans only draw 0.16A each, so it's not like you have to worry about overloading the headers either.

There's actually three, not including the CPU header. The chassis header near the back I/O is kinda hard to catch by eye, it's a busy spot on the board. Could probably make do with just one Y-cable in that case.

I don't usually suggest adjustable fan controllers. Most board have decent onboard controllers these days and case fans don't usually need THAT much fine-tuning, plus a control panel just makes cable management more of a pain.

Thanks for the link, that is exactly what I was looking for. So with two fan adapters already built in the the MB I might just go with two fans, one in front and the rear exhaust. I dont' plan to OC my machine yet so two fans should provide adequate ventilation for now. My case is the Thermaltake V3 Black Edition (already comes with 1 fan).

Yeah, that should be fine. There are actually 3 headers per IGemini, so that's even better.
