i'm going to be installing win2k when i reformat, what is the order i should install drivers and such?
i know i have to download the install pack.
i have to get service pack 1, the amd agp update, the latest sb live drivers, my network drivers, monitor drivers, win2k det 6.47's, direct x7.0a(from nhl2001), and my latest bios. this is the order i have so far:
1. clear cmos with jumper.
2. boot to bios and check for latest bios, if not, then flash to latest.
3. disable super bypass in bios (to insure that my gf2 gts won't crash)
4. turn off acpi or apm in bios (so win2k doesn't assign all irq's to one slot)
5. make cd the first boot device... restart.. install win2k.
Then what!? what order of installation provides for the most stable and best configured system?
Also, does the k7pro require the via 4-in-1 drivers?

I usually add drivers in this order...

VIA 4-in-1 Drivers
Nvidia Reference Drivers
SB LIVEWARE drivers
SCSI drivers
printers, input devices, etc.
