installing new Saitek eclipse II

Hey all, feel like an idiot.

situation: currently had logitech wireless keyboard which is ps/2. I plugged in my new saitek ecplipse II keyboard which was detected and works just dandy as I am typing.

When I reboot however and my boot options come up in DOS I cannot use the arrow keys! Only the old keyboard works. If I unplug the logitech same thing happens.

I am sure I probably need to somehow uninstall old drivers or make new one the default, but shockingly.. I am not sure how to do this.

If someone knows how to fix this , could they walk me through it?

thanks in advance!

Look in the bios for USB legacy support or something similar and enable it.

Tell us what motherboard you have and i may be able to look up the exact name of the setting for you.

BTW: It has nothing to do with drivers at all, so dont worry about that.
Its just simply because one keyboard was PS2 and the new one is USB.
If you used a USB to PS2 adapter on your new Keyboard, it would work in dos.
But you dont wanna do that unless you absolutely HAVE TO.
