Received a gigabyte x79 ud5
Installed just one module and a GeForce 560ti
Have h100 on
One hard drive and corsair ax750
The mobo shows theirs power but when I turn it on theres a beep, some fans spin for around a second and they turn on though the power button on mobo is still lit up

Swapped my corsair 520hx and everything works and it posts
Definitely seems to be mobo?

If I'm understanding you post correctly, it works with a Corsair 520HX but not with your AX750. If so, why do you think that it's the mobo instead of the PSU?

power supply. Probably not providing the proper juice over the ATX connections on your mobo. I had a PSU that had a shorted connector and as long as I used that connector it would do what you describe. Unplug everything except your motherboard and see if your fans spin up as if it is working. Then plug everything in one at a time and see if you can isolate it.

If it doesn't work when only the motherboard is connected then you need to replace the PSU.

yeah, RMA time. Corsair is good service I sent my HX1000 back to them once because it stopped providing power at all. Got a brand new one sealed in the box in about 7 days.

Weird thing was, they just asked for the bare unit. No modular cables or any extras. I got a complete unit with a new set of modular cables so now I have 2 sets.

HX1000. Used it for about 8 months then one day it wouldn't power up. Swapped PSU to my old Seasonic unit and everything was good. The replacement has been running strong since 2009.
