Hey there. I am buying a nice new 120GB WD SE Hard drive tonight and I have a few questions on configuring and about the way i want to set it up. Basically I am going to mirror all the files on my current 40 GB hard drive to the 120 GB hard drive. I use windows XP and that new 120 GB hard drive, I want to become my new WinXP hard drive. After I transfer everything to the 120 GB I am going to format the 40 GB one and throw Mandrake Linux onto it. One of the reasons I am getting a 120 gigger is because I have a massive MP3 collection. I know how to mount the new drive into Linux so I can access everything but my question is how exactially should I format my drives?

Can I do NTFS and still have a dule boot? My friend said you could only dule boot if both drives are formated in FAT32. Idealy I'd like to do NTFS on the 120GB and do the Journalized format on the 40 GB (Linux). Is this possible? Will I be able to access my 120GB's files in Linux? I'm new to the whole hard drive scene :). Thanks in advance. I hope this can get answered quickly. I'm picking the drive up in 20 mins.
