Installing new hard drive

Just bought a new hard drive, installed it correctly, windows detected it and installed the drivers. But I don't see it in My Computer... although the device manager sees it.

So I open the case and realize I forgot to set the jumper.. only thing is... the hard drive didn't have a jumper!

Is there any way to set it up in the BIOS so I can make it a slave drive? or do I really need a jumper?

if it didn't see it just because you haven't format hard drive. why do you need to set a jumper when Windows already detected it at first place?

Download the system tools from the HDD manufacturer's webpage, install, run, follow on-screen instructions. Voilá!
