I'm going to be installing a new 200GB WD drive next week. I was going to format it to NTFS and then use Partition Magic to simply copy the partition with XP on my existing drive to the new drive. Is that all that I need to do? Am I missing anything?
 
If you plan on copying everything over, than trying to boot windows from that drive, I dont think it would work. You need to use something like Norton Ghost. If you just want to drag your importent stuff over to the new drive you can do so. No point in copying every single file over though.
