Installing my new CPU

I'm new to the "build your own" group. I've bought an ABIT KG7 MB and an AMD XP 1600 CPU. When I bought an IBM III CPU in the spring, for another computer, the cpu came with heat sink & fan already on it. The AMD came with just the CPU, bare. Now I've bought an ALPHA 8045 cooler and a DELTA fan as well. Is this going to be all that's needed to put on the cpu? The alpha and delta items haven't come in as yet so I've not been able to see if there is anything else that's required or not, or just how it's going to all fit together (if at all!).

Thanks

Get some Artic Silver II thermal paste. Put a light coating on the cpu and the HS. If you cant find AS II, radio shack has
some good heat sink compound. If you go that way make sure to get part #276-1372 A.

When ur HSF arrive, scrap off the paste under the HS w/ razor. Then clean it w/ alcohol. Apply a thin layer of ASII. Get a better instruction here. Its better than the paste tht come w/ the HSF.
