Installing more RAM in a Lenovo T430s--how to?

I feel dumb having to ask this because I've added memory to my old Macbook and several windows desktops in the past, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it on my Lenovo 430s.

I've got 4GB, trying to add another 4. According to Crucial I should have one slot available. So when I popped off the bottom panel I saw this:

So there's the existing 4GB SO-DIMM, but no second RAM slot I can see. According to THIS video the T430 (slightly bigger model than mine) has an additional RAM slot below the keyboard, but when I removed the keyboard I get this:

Again, not at all obvious to me where to install the RAM. That black area below the CPU is held in place by very sticky adhesive.

So...any ideas? Or anyone who can find a hardware or user manual? THIS one doesn't seem to have anything.

I see a RAM slot right below the stick in the first pic. They just aren't side by side.

BRILLIANT.

And, mighty cw....YOU ARE NOT DUMB!!!!!!

Only good thing about GPS technology (cause mainly, it rots the brain), is....guys formerly too terrified to ask for directions and who make VOLVERINE their role model.:sneaky:...now don have to ask:cool: And that, keeps them stuck.

Not sure I follow...below the stick in picture 1 is the battery bay... Explain what you mean like I'm a complete idiot, which is seriously how I feel after staring at this for the last damned hour.

NP. The is a white holder under the first stick. There is a black holder under the lower spot. If you look close enough you will see the contacts. Silde the stick in bottom first, are the pins on the sides will grab it as you push the top back.

THE STARING (I once stared into the box, was half inside it anyhow, on the floor for SEVEN hours....trying this and that and looking at each capacitor, etc, before what the problem might be hit me).....is what takes the courage and the character and the noble tenacity.

Action hero movies and games are NOT REAL LIFE, OK?:sneaky:

IN THE COMPUTER. Okay, I finally realized what you mean; the ram sticks are basically on top of each other. Finally got it installed. Thanks, and buy yourself a cookie on my behalf.
