Is it possible to have mandrake linux and windows xp in 1 20gb hd? If so then how make partion of these 2 os?

Hi i1o0i, yes it is possible to fit both on 1 20GB hard drive with applications if you partition well and don't install unnecessary features. Install windows XP first, then install Mandrake - Mandrake is pretty user friendly and will guide you thru the installation process. The partition manager can "auto-allocate" or you can set up the partitions yourself. I recommend keeping XP on its own partition and allowing Mandrake to auto-allocate the rest with modifications if necessary. Hope it helps.

You can convert from FAT32 to NTFS but not the other way around.

QTparted can use parted and ntfsresize together. Of the live boot CDs, I know that Knoppix can do it for certain, because I just did it a few months ago.
