Installing kk266plus into Antec sx830 question?

I've run into this problem twice now. When installing a kk266 mobo into an Antec sx830 case, the holes in the corner of the mobo (closest to the hard drive) do not line up with any stand-off screws. This makes the board unsuported and it tends to flex @ the extreme right corner when plugging devices into the ide ports. Would it hurt to just put one of the stand-offs to support the board even though it won't line up with a hole or could it ground something out?
Anyone experience anything similar?

I had the same problem with some MSI boards. I don't think putting them underneath to "support" is a good idea. As you push on the board it may damage the board and cut or short out some of the traces.

I may be reaching but I wouldn't want to find out.

Just hold the edge as you push on it to install any connectors.

Yeah, I'm not worried about it now. I built it for someone else. I am just concerned they'll unplug/plug in one of the ide cables sometime in the future and the board will crack. I'm gonna give them a lesson on it before I hand over the pc, I was just hoping there was something else I could do to support it.
